The Artist
Olivia Lauren-Lee loves the outdoors and has a passion for animals, nature, wildlife and especially Weimaraners. Her background is in design and she has been a keen photographer from a young age. Starting out learning the basics of photography at college and later graduating from De Montfort University, it turns out photography runs in the family - her late father and grandfather shared a love of photography too. She has a way with the camera that lets the personality of her subjects shine through. Olivia Lauren-Lee has exhibited in small local galleries as well as taking on private, personalised commissions for pet portraits.
Kia the Weimaraner is a loving loyal family member, which comes across in this contemporary photographic approach. Who needs words when you have such an expressive face and live with someone who knows just how to show off your best side! Kia has been the star of Olivia Lauren-Lee’s photography for the last 3 years.

Giclée is an 8 ink, inkjet printing process using highly pigmented inks.
Why choose fine art Gicleé prints?
Compared to standard printing techniques Giclée prints look better and last longer. The Giclée printing process reproduces museum quality prints that, in some instances, are rated to last up to 200 years. Giclée printers use specially formulated archival inks that produce exceptional color results on a wide variety of acid-free, fine art papers and canvas.

The name comes from the Grand Duke of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach, Karl August, whose court, based in the city of Weimar (now in the state of Thuringia in modern-day Germany), enjoyed hunting. (Wikipedia).

Kia the Fine Weim
We adopted Kia at one and half years old. She is a female dog who came to us with a very sparkly pink harness, which we soon had to change as the other half objected to walking her with such a lead. Kia came with her name which quickly grew on us; she is now four and a half, with a happy, playful temperament. Kia loves long walks and would happily walk all day, although would equally take a short walk as long as she can have a good sniff around. She gets plenty of exercise walking around small forests, woods, lakes and country parks around Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire. Her favourite meats are definitely roast chicken and pork but her true silver ghost comes out when there is lamb cooking in the oven, there is definitely help completing this dinner. Kia is a true family pet who spends most evenings snuggled up with her cosy blanket.
